Project Description

This is a framework that was built off of XNA 4.0 to provide an easy method of component management and simplification from the standard XNA usage.

It is designed with ease of use in mind, and while as of now is only in the early stages of development I believe it will grow rapidly with aid from the community.

Project was upgraded to XNA 4.0 on 11-13-2010

 

The first release build of the framework will have the following features

  • Framework Core
  • Component manager built into Framework core.
  • F10Component base class that is used to create blank components.
  • F10MeshComponent and F10SpriteComponent that have built in data for managing a mesh and sprite.
  • F10Shader class that encapsulates and makes it easier to use Shaders
  • Collection of global objects in the Framework component manager that all components have acess to.

  • Xbox360 Support
  • Windows Phone 7 Support
  • Touch Based Input support
  • Possibly a Native C++ / Direct3D port for native development
  • Easier Built in rendering
